Motivation and Organizational Culture Paper
Management should always play a leading and positive role in workplace psychology. I am not sure that this is the case of all management professionals, but this is what I believe should be practiced by all in the management field. Managers are the head of a company or department, they are who determines what will be accomplished within the company during workdays, and they who will dictate how this will be accomplished. If the manager fails to organize the team, this may cause dissatisfaction within the team members, dissatisfaction, and dislike to responsibilities may cause a company loss. When employees are not satisfied with their job, and or accomplishments this may cause them to resign to find jobs that are better. Therefore, it is important for managers to value, and respect those that are under their management, and communication is the most important thing over all.
Ayame’s cultural background may be passive, and friendly, coming into a work environment that is confrontational, can negatively impact her management skills, and leadership. Receiving feedback in an aggressive or argumentative way can discourage Ayame, especially if she is not used to this type of relations or work environment. It is important to always feel understood, and motivated the right way, rather than offering a confrontational management approaches, the company should consider other more passive yet strong management skills.
There is more motivational techniques that Ayame’s company can implement, and use to replace the confrontational management currently used. Compensation is one way to motivate some employee’s, many have either large families, and work hard to be able to support their families, some…...

...with my Verizon cell phone company. When I first grew up cell phones were sort of not a main attraction. Then when I was about sixteen years old they started to become more popular. I decided that I also needed a cell phone as well. I went to the Verizon store and was over excited that I could get a cell phone that I did not even noticed all of the paper work that I was singing. I was so engaged by the cool flip phone that caught my eye. I could not believe that I could have a phone on me that would be portable and I could make calls while in my car and outside of my home. I went home and was still in this amazement. I started to make phone calls and did not even consider what I had singed along with all of the paperwork. About two weeks later I remember that I had all of this paper work in a folder that I did not even read over. I started to sit down and read over all of the papers that I had recently singed. I then realized that I was now in a two year contract and was locked in. This meant that even if I did not want this cell phone and their services or wanted to change to a new company I would have to pay them an early end of contract release. This meant that if in fact I wanted to end my contract before the two years was up then I would have to pay them three hundred and eighty five dollars. Along with this it also meant that I could not change the phone that I had purchased that day. I would have to wait of the two year to be up to also renew my contract......

...AMANDA BALL WEEK 3 Islam vs Hinduism While religious denominations tend to share many things in common, the difference between Islam and Hinduism starts with their respective origins, and goes all the way through to beliefs and practices. In the desert of Arabia, there were kinds of people who were ready to revolt against the traditional religious beliefs of the time. Once the prophet Muhammad received his divine revelations, Islam was formed, developed, and taught. Hinduism began as more of what could be called a ‘coming together’ of various belief systems. At the time, the subcontinent of India was a destination of many wanderers, the exiled, the seekers, and of course, the prophetic. There are much greater ties to Jewish and Christian beliefs in Hinduism, than can be found in Islam. One can find many vast differences in the founding principles of each denomination. Islam is formed from a sense of activism, a need to rush out and find the world, teach those in the world of Islamic faith and tradition, and embrace the humanity in which it resides. Hinduism is based on principles of patient listening, tolerance for those who are different in faith, and the strong belief that, in given time, there will be an awakening of the people. This awakening will bring the people to Hinduism. Religious denominations have been historically named to define either their location of origin, or......

...Federal Taxes and Management Decisions Week 3 Assignment Anna Perez Question 7-7 Differentiate between the following: active income, passive income, and portfolio income. Answer: Active income is attributable to the direct efforts of the taxpayer, such as salary, commissions, wages, etc. Passive income is income derived from a passive activity. Portfolio income is interest, dividends, annuities, and royalties not derived in the ordinary course of a trade or business. The gain from the sale of property that produces portfolio income (stocks and bonds) is also classified as portfolio income. Question 7-13 Briefly, what is "material participation"? Why is the determination of whether a taxpayer materially participates important? Answer: Material participation requires a taxpayer to be involved in the operations of the activity on a regular, continuous, and substantial basis. This is the basic line at which any income or loss from an activity crosses the line into active income. Without material participation the income or loss may be passive income or loss for tax purposes. Losses from passive activities can only be deducted to the extent that passive income exists. They generally cannot be deducted from ordinary (active) income. Losses from activities in which the individual materially participated and the income is considered active would be deductible from any and all income which obviously gives the tax payer greater flexibility. ...Week 3 Individual Assignment Phoenix University RES/351 22 March 2016 The choice of a research design is often dictated with the nature of the problem being explored. In addition, the amount of knowledge already available in a certain field also dictates the research design. This is because qualitative research can be used to gather primary knowledge before carrying on quantitative research which is used to explore more specific and complex problems. It is safe to say that qualitative information can help to formulate a hypothesis to be tested in quantitative research. In any business, qualitative research is mostly used to study human behavior and consumer trends. In this particular case, the researchers were attempting to determine the differences in buying behavior between customers of vehicles in China, Japan, and Western countries. The methods used to gather information were interviews and questionnaires that featured many open-ended questions. The information gathered through these means was such that it was almost impossible to express it in numerical form. The hypothesis formulated by the researchers was whether culture plays a role in the buying decision when looking for a car. The analysis of the information gathered entailed looking at a response and recording a yes or no response. The conclusion was drawn after aggregating the responses from each country. The researchers found that culture plays an......
