and Organizations In assessing you will in regards to not for profit

versus for-profit healthcare and companies I found an

interesting article from the Congressional Budget Office

[CBO] (2006), which smashes down the possession types of

medical centers nationwide. Depending on 4,518 group

medical centers, 58 % are Veteran Affairs, 18 % are for

revenue, and the staying 24 % are government owned

medical centers. Veteran Affairs medical centers were established for

Veteran Affairs requirements and tend to be larger, and

are more likely to be training medical centers. They

also are responsible and responsible to the areas they

offer. They are controlled by commanders of the areas

they offer. Earnings obtained from the Veteran Affairs

medical centers are reinvested to improve quality and

health care provided at the medical centers, and also

spent in group programs, such as offering no fee or

reduced fees to the without insurance and low income for

medical health care services. Veteran Affairs

healthcare companies objective is to offer areas by

offering healthcare without respect for a individual's

ability to pay. For-profit medical centers are lawfully responsible

to their entrepreneurs and stockholders and performance

is centered on success and the return on value to its

investors. Profits from earnings can be allocated to

entrepreneurs and stockholders. There are also tax

treatment variations for the for-profit and Veteran

Affairs medical centers. (CBO, 2006) The Veteran

government business duty, as well as local sales and

Depression is the most frequently diagnosed mental illness in the United States and one of the leading causes of disability. The data which got stolen includes names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, as well as some disability ratings. Three personnel held accountable on this data breach, two of them are rank as a an agency supervisor had been demoted due to not reporting the security data theft immediately to their respective high ranking officials or high ranking personnel such as VA Secretary R. James Nicholson. On the other hand, the data analyst who took home the data and resulted for being stolen had been fired due to his action has violated agency procedure. The agency has estimated that it will cost between $100 million to $500 million to prevent and cover possible losses from the data theft. Many veterans today do not have jobs, homes, or families because of their illnesses and inabilities to conform back into their normal lives. Although many Veteran Organizations think that they are doing more than enough for our soldiers, the US government needs to focus more on the soldier’s care after returning home because they are the ones who took care of America in our time of need. As all of the tours ended in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, surviving soldiers began to return home, well the United States, not what people would typically consider “home.” Rodenbush and Dillon state that, “Data collected during the annual Point-in-Time Count conducted in January 2014 shows there were 49,933 homeless veterans in America.” There are several reasons as to why this many veterans are homeless. First, because a large amount of soldiers are returning home with brain injuries, PTSD or TBI, they have a greater inability to find jobs; without any kind of job, the veterans have no choice but to live on the streets. Some families are also known for leaving their solider behind before his/her return home, resulting in another soldier without a home.
