Global Travel Freedom at a Glance

The Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index is a global ranking of countries according to the travel freedom that their citizens enjoy.
Henley & Partners analyze the visa regulations of all countries and territories in the world and present an index which ranks each by the number of other countries that their citizens can travel to without having to obtain a visa.
The index is produced in cooperation with the International
Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the world’s largest database of travel information, and is published annually.

How to read the index:
Countries are listed according to the numbers of other countries to which visa-free access is possible. Hence,
Finland, Germany, Sweden, the UK and the US, who can all access 174 countries visa-free, the highest score achieved, are ranked in first position.
