COMPORTAMIENTO ORGANIZACIONAL: ‘SEBASTIÁN RENAU’ ANÁLISIS DEL CASO
PARA : SEBASTIÁN RENAU FECHA: 16/04/2013
ASUNTO: RECOMENDACIONES

Johann Sebastian Bach

...Kellie Holley MUS 101 / 01402 February 10, 2013 Johann Sebastian Bach Johann Sebastian Bach was born March 21, 1685 in Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany. He was the youngest child of Johann Ambrosius Bach and Elisabeth Lämmerhirt. Johann Ambrosius Bach was a string player, employed by the town council and the ducal court of Eisenach. After his parents’ death, he was looked after by his older brother, Johann Christoph, who had been a pupil of Johann Pachelbel. It was from his brother that he received his first formal organ lessons. From 1703 to 1707, Bach was appointed as organist at the Neue Kirche (New Church) in Arnstadt. During this time he composed such works as Capriccio sopra la lontananza del suo fratello dilettissimo (1704; Capriccio on the Departure of His Most Beloved Brother), the chorale prelude on Wie schön leuchtet (c. 1705; How Brightly Shines), and the fragmentary early version of the organ Prelude and Fugue in G Minor (before 1707). In 1707 Bach obtained a post at the Blasiuskirche in Mühlhausen in Thuringia. He moved there soon after and married his cousin Maria Barbara Bach on October 17, 1707. At Mühlhausen he produced several church cantatas, all cast in a conservative mold, based on biblical and chorale texts. The famous organ Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and the Prelude and Fugue in D Major may also have been composed during this time, as well as the organ Passacaglia in C Minor. Cantata No. 71, Gott ist mein König (God Is My King), printed......

...Quinton Courteau Question 1 Response In act 2 scene 2 the banter that goes on between Gonzalo and Sebastian gives an idea of how each one of the colonists feels about the environment that they have stumbled upon. Gonzalo shows signs of optimism when it comes to the islands beauty and bountiful resources. Specifically Gonzalo says “A magnificent country! Bread hangs from the trees and the apricots are bigger than a woman’s full breast.” This line instantly makes the reader think that Gonzalo has a true appreciation for nature. On the other the other colonizer by the name of Sebastian responds to Gonzalo by saying “A pity that it’s so wild and uncultivated…here and there.” This indicates that Sebastian is a man that industrial living with structure. The feeling that the reader gets from Sebastian is that he is one who likes structure and “civilized” living as opposed to free living. Gonzalo goes on a little later in the conversation to mention this guano. Guano is bird droppings and according to him, these bird droppings can be used as fertilizer. Antonio joins in the conversation and says “Let me understand: your guano cave contains a river of dried shit.” This makes it seem like Antonio is not seeing the big picture but the idea that what Gonzalo speaks of is disgusting and dirty. Gonzalo rebuttals by saying “To pick up on your image, all we need to do is channel that river, use it to irrigate, if I may use the term, the fields with this wonderful fecal matter, and......

...Calling and texting are to excellent ways of communication, but texting is better. Texting allows so much more advantages then calling. Texting is faster, cheaper, and more convenient. Which makes it the better choice for communication. When having a conversation, a lot of people want it to be fast, an texting allows that. With texting you don’t have to hold a conversation and say hello, you can ask a question and end the conversation. For example did you know millions of people around the world prefer texting to calling? It’s true! It’s because it allows faster and easier means of communication. Another great thing about texting is the money. Texting is so much more cheaper then calling. Texting cost two cents a text and calling cost three cents. That may not seem like a lot but after a while it adds up. A thirty minute phone call can cost 90 cents but a thirty page text can cost 60 cents! Same amount of time but 30 cents less then calling. Last is the convenience. Calling takes time out of peoples day, it interrupts there work life or personal life. With a text message they can get back you at there convenience. In the work place most places wont allow person phone calls with texting you can tell someone important without risking there job. Its just more convenient. In conclusion, while yes calling is an excellent means of communication, texting is better. As I’ve described there’s a lot of advantages to texting. So next time there is a need for communication text them...

...that Sebastian can bring against Poorich supermarket would be tort of negligence. The general principle of tort of negligence is, a person through his act or omission causes damage or injury to another person in situations where it was foreseeable. In the case of Sebastian, the manager of the Poorich supermarket owes Sebastian and his two sons a duty of care as a customer. The concept of duty of care generally known as the ‘neighbour’s principle’ is effectively established in the case of Donoghue v Stevenson. The legal principle of Donoghue v Stevenson is, in order for the plaintiff to sue in negligence he has to prove the four vital points which are, the defendant owes a duty of care to the plaintiff and the defendant did not take proper care which resulted in damage or injury to the plaintiff. Hence, in this case the manager of the supermarket breached his duty by negligently accusing Sebastian in front of a public for stealing and also labelling Sebastian as a cheat and liar without having any accurate evidence. Therefore, my recommendation would be that Sebastian may file a law suit against the Poorich supermarket for the negligence of the manager in handling the matter which is reasonably foreseeable that it caused Sebastian embarrassment and emotional distress. The second lawsuit that can be brought against the supermarket, would be trespass to a person. The three types of trespass to a person is battery, assault and false imprisonment. In the case of Sebastian,......

Sebastian Vettel Bio.

...sound familiar, but Sebastian Vettel is the best Formula One driver thats driving today. Surprisingly, he is the youngest person to do this kind of racing since it started back in 1950. Quincidently, Formula One racing is a lot like NASCAR except the cars look different. Now, it is a popular sport around the world but not as popular here in America and that’s why a lot of people here don’t know a lot about this fast paced sport. In the last three years, Sebastian has won four world championships and could own a fifth next year. Also, he started racing at the age of seven by driving in go-kart races. There are a lot of racing legends when it comes to Formula One, but Sebastian is in a league all his own. When people look back to 2013, they will remember the accomplishments of Sebastian Vettel. Introduction The youngest driver in Formula One history could also be the best driver in Formula One history. Now, not only has he been able to keep up with the big dogs of Formula One like Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber, but he doesn’t only keep up with these guys, he beats them to the finish line almost every time. Not only does he hold records for youngest driver in formula one history, he also holds plenty others as well like the youngest driver to take part in an official practice session of a Grand Prix. That’s pretty impressive for a guy who started out driving his toy car in the driveway back in the early 90’s. People who know of Sebastian will say that......

Johann Sebastian Bach: an Elementary Discourse on His Life and Influence on Western Music

...On 28 July, 1750, a sickly and exhausted old man was found dead while recuperating from eye-surgery. Viewed by his peers as outdated and irreverent, he would eventually be regarded as one of the greatest musical genius’s who ever lived, nearly 80 years later (Mellers). Today, we know this man as Johann Sebastian Bach, a virtuoso organist and prolific composer from the baroque era of classical music; whose works spanned over 1000 musical pieces and influenced entire generations of western music schools of thought (J.S. Bach). Bach’s importance to western music development wouldn’t have been noticed by his contemporaries, who mostly favored the preclassical styles of homophony which were harmonically simpler in tone and structure (Mellers). His sphere of influence had affected many important composers whose names include: Felix Mendelssohn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven; who themselves made major contributions to the preeminence and development of western music. In terms of originality and complexity, Bach’s compositions represent some of the most sophisticated and ambitious classical pieces to date, which through his rigorous use of counterpoint, tonal control and attention to single moods (called affects) had helped refine western music from a folk-based expressive form to a highly complex and evolved form of musical expression (Tonality). But in order to understand Bach and his well noted contributions, one must also understand his life in the context of......

The Twelfth Night

...as it seems” theme. This particular scene depicts a conversation between Feste and Sebastian. The fool is surprised that Sebastian is suggesting that he was not sent for Sebastian. Sebastian tells the fool to go away, calling him a “foolish fellow” (IV.i.2). Feste compliments Sebastian for holding out on him. He then sarcastically says that Olivia did not send him, that she does not want to speak with Sebastian, and that Sebastian’s name is not Master Cesario. The fool continues with a joke to emphasize the sarcasm: “nor this my nose neither” (IV.i.6). Sebastian instructs the fool to tell his nonsense to someone else and insists Feste does not know him. This fits the theme because it seems that the fool is speaking to Cesario, but that is not the case. Some words in this passage may be difficult to figure out. The fool says, “to bid you come speak with her” (IV.i.5). In this context the word “bid” may be confusing. Bid means to command or direct. Therefore, Feste is saying: to command you to come speak with her. Sebastian says, “I prithee, vent thy folly somewhere else” (IV.i.8). The words “prithee” and “folly” may be unfamiliar. Prithee means “pray thee.” It is a word that was commonly used in that time period and is frequently used in the play. Folly means the state of being foolish and lacking sense. Sebastian is saying: I pray you share your foolishness somewhere else. After Sebastian says this, Feste says, “Vent my folly? He has heard that word of some great man......

Marketing

...Describe what is meant by the ‘marketing mix’ and what the key ingredients of the mix are. The marketing mix consists of four basic elements; Product, Price, Place and Promotion. They are extremely important when reaching the objective of the chosen business. The marketing mix will vary depending on the type of business because they do not all sell the same product, have same budget or have the same competition. For example, Infinti’s marketing mix consists of a luxury car product which sells for premium price as it is a quality product. Infinti is expanding globally and its cars are sold around the world in state of the art dealerships and are promoted through the sports industries, with Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel being famously involved within the business. Explain the difference between above- the-line and below-the-line promotional activity. Above the line promotion is paid for communication in the independent media. This would cover advertisements on TV, articles in magazines/newspapers, broadcasts on the Radio, online advertisement and billboards in relevant places/roadsides. Above the line promotion can also be seen by anyone outside the aimed audience. For example Infinti broadcasts TV adverts across the globe to highlight the quality of its product. Below the line promotion main aim is to target its audience more directly. It has a set audience it wants to communicate with and this is done through public relations, sponsorships, hospitality,......

Brideshead Revisited

...world towards modernisation and corruption. In ‘Brideshead Revisited’ the same pattern appears to be followed; moving from the peaceful harmony of Sebastian and Charles’ life in Oxford into corruption and turmoil or the shifting power balance between the social classes, from the nobility to the lower classes. However, change is not exclusively a negative force in the novel. The title of book one ‘Et in Arcadia Ego’ suggests that even in paradise there is corruption or more accurately, death. The slightly morbid dorm room décor of Charles’ in book one which includes a skull as an ornament suggests that there is more to than meets the eye in reference to appearances in Brideshead revisited. Although Oxford appears to have been one of the places Charles remembers most fondly, there still is evidence of corruption/sinister events to come. Another places which exposes this paradise/death dichotomy is in the two passages from book one when Charles and Sebastian are picnicking and Sebastian states, ‘Just the place to bury a crock of gold…I should like to bury something precious in every place where I’ve been happy and then, when I was old and miserable I could come back and dig it up and remember.’ Early into his narration Charles presents happiness and memories being corrupted by age and its subsequent effect on the mind and body. Sebastian refers to needing reminded of his happy memories which illustrates how the mind is corrupted and damaged with age and even though they are......

Question of Sexuality

...play, Shakespeare introduces a more obvious case of homosexuality. As the characters Sebastian (Viola’s brother), and Antonio (the guy who saved Sebastian from the shipwreck) are introduced, we can see a strong affection being given from Antonio towards Sebastian. Between the two characters homosexuality is strongly suggested. It appears as though Sebastian is heterosexual but Antonio has a rather strong attachment and need to remain rather close to Sebastian’s every move. In one scene Antonio give Sebastian his purse saying “Hold, sir here’s my purse,” so he would have some money in case he saw something he wanted to buy something. From the example given it makes you question why Antonio feels the need to look after Sebastian and treats him as if he were his girlfriend. Even though Antonio’s affection and attachment towards Sebastian seems to be questionable Shakespeare could just as well be promoting a very strong friendship or brotherhood that has transpired between the two making it seem as though there is a romantic desire stemming from Antonio. The confusion of sexual identity in the play also affects the outcome of the characters in the play. In the case of Viola, her disguise as a man initially causes a woman to fall in love with her thus leading Orsino to briefly believe that he has been betrayed when Olivia ends up marrying Sebastian and believes it to be Cesario. Sebastian was in awe when he seen how such a beautiful woman was in love with him and wanting......
