THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND INTRODUCTION
Organizations continually search for improving work environment and workplace relationship. An attitude is simply a method by which letting others know what you are feeling, moods, believes, likes, dislikes, or even your insecurities. In business or in organization, the manager directly affects the perception, as well as the behaviour of the subordinates. They have profound effect on how his subordinates produce and react in the workplace; create positive work environment that foster teamwork and results. It is the attitude of the manager can make the difference in the employee performance. The attitude towards a person, a project, an idea or yourself will have a positive impact on performance. The employee will not thrive, be able to produce or have a good attitude if the manager shows lack of leadership. As a manager, they set the tone for all other employee within the company, posses’ essential skills and have winning attitude. The employees make choices to work hard or not based on the individual preferences. A manager’s behaviour (actions) can affect the productivity of his/her employees in different ways; such as the employee’s performance, attendance, accuracy, loyalty, and attitude. If the manager shows positive behaviour, employees are likely conduct the same behaviour, and that will lead to affect their performance in a good way. Managers always leading by example, if the employees notice that the manager has good attitude at the workplace, about the work they are doing, or good attitude dealing with them; that will make the employees feel more comfortable and more motivated. Therefore, the manager positive attitude affects the employee’s performance in a good way, their performance will maintains, and that will lead to improve the quality of the work, the employee’s productivity, and their devotion.

Philosophy

...concerned with not only the truth, but to seek a truth or theory, that will explain the particular and the detailed and the everyday. Furthermore, it is known that philosophy develops a nature of philosophy known as analytic philosophy. In the article "Analytic philosophy by D.H. Mellor, an example of this is the fact that philosophers seem to spend more time studying nonsense than do some other thinkers. Indeed matters are in some ways worse now that they were then. For one thing, philosophers today are too rarely amused by the difficulties that block the way to knowledge. They should be amused, because philosophy has to deal amongst other things with the limits of what makes sense. That is, with the boundary between sense and non sense, which is the very stuff of humor. To expose nonsense, we must first detect it. "As Ramsey said of Wittgenstein's proposition that philosophy itself is nonsense, 'we must then take seriously that it is nonsense". Although this talks about philosophy being nonsense, Philosophy indeed is not nonsense. It just includes taking the fact of nonsense seriously and claiming why it is nonsense. In this sense, good philosophy has always been analytic. In Aristotle and Plato, and in any modern philosopher, analysis is more of a matter of technique than of doctrine. If anything does distinguish analytic philosophy, it is that it not only uses analytic techniques, but is explicitly concerned to develop and asses them. ultimately, it is evident that......

Civil engineering also aims to solve environmental issues such as air pollution, coastal protection and waste treatment. What do Civil Engineers do? Civil engineers design, construct and maintain the infrastructure and facilities that are essential to society. Their work includes complex problem solving on projects which are influenced by a mixture of technical, economic, social and environmental factors. Civil engineering includes several sub-disciplines which offer an exciting and broad range of career choices, allowing students to choose a specialty: • Structural: analyzing and designing structures that are safe and can withstand the forces of nature such as bridges, skyscrapers, space platforms and amusement park rides. • Transportation: providing new and improved innovations to meet peoples travel needs on land, sea air and reducing traffic congestion. • Environmental and water: designing systems that will render toxic substances harmless, treat both water and waste water, reduce solid waste volumes, eliminate......

Curiouser and Curiouser!

...Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, best known by his pen name Lewis Carroll, has written many novels, poems, and short stories in his lifetime but his most famous for his children's “nonsense” novels: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and the sequel Through the Looking Glass. His works, especially the two mentioned, have influenced countless readers over the years, and references to his writings can be found in every type of media from the song “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane to the the Matrix trilogy. While both books are intended for a child's entertainment, they are full of symbolism and hidden critique. His clever wordplay, use of logic and reasoning, and incredible imagination are all trademarks of his style of writing, which is often referred to as “literary nonsense.” To readers with little experience with Carroll's work, this term seems to perfectly describe Carroll's confusing and often rambling style, but when more thoroughly inspected, it becomes obvious that this “nonsense” has a far deeper meaning. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is about a young girl, Alice, who gets bored doing her multiplication tables one day and follows a white rabbit into a hole. Through this hole, she ends up falling into Wonderland, a place where there are potions and foods that can change the drinker's size, a tea party thrown by a Mad Hatter and a March Hare, and a Caucus-race that everybody wins. As Alice journeys through Wonderland she meets stranger and stranger, or, as...

While the external outlook, particularly in the US, has improved, final demand in the developed economies is expected to remain fairly modest at this juncture. In comparison, the outlook for Asia ex-Japan economies is more positive. While growth in the region will likely slow from last year, it should continue to be supported by firm domestic demand. Alongside the maturing of the global inventory restocking cycle, the domestic manufacturing sector is likely to see slower growth this year in line with the pace of end demand in the key export markets. Construction activity will also decelerate, with the completion of mega projects such as the integrated resorts. Alice in Wonderland Essay

...from real life, it trying to symbolize problems with the real world. maybe not. If Lewis Carroll doing this in Alice? Perhaps, but The popular scene in chapter 5 at the Mad Hatter’s tea party shows 3 themes that could symbolize something in real life. Three possible symbolic themes from the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party include: nonsense, rudeness, and meanness. Nonsense is used without the book, but at the tea party. Toward the end of the party the March Hare tells Alice to take the some more tea. She replies that she can’t take more because she hasn’t had any yet. The Hatter jumps in and replies “ You can’t take less, it is very easy to take more than nothing.” That was obviously a nonsense statement. Another nonsense part of the tea party is when they are talking about the purpose of a watch. After Alice points out how strange March Hare’s watch is in that is tells the day of the month but not the time, the Hatter jumps in and asks “Why should it? Does your watch tell what year it is?” Alice tries to explain that a year lasts a long time and you don’t need a watch to know the year. The Hatter again replies with nonsense Xxxxxxx 2 saying, “Which is just the case with mine.” Alice knows the Hatter is speaking English, but she has no idea what his crazy words mean. Meanness was portrayed at the tea party, by the many times the animals were mean to the sleeping dormouse. They are leaning on the dormouse when Alice arrives at the party. The Hatter......

Nonsense Advertisement

...Nonsense Advertisement Advertising plays a very important role in today’s age of competition. Advertising is one thing, which has become a necessity for everybody in today’s day to day life, be it the producer, the traders, or the customer. Today, there are many clueless advertisement are being made. Most of the time, these advertisements possess no truthfulness about the product or services. The campaign runner come up with this fancy ideas of advertisement by assuming that these advert will give advantages to the business while in reality, it harms the brand image of the product or service. Consumers in general, always wish to watch or see those adverts, which depict the real product and service. They take no time to move their focus from a product if they find out that the product doesn’t offer the exact value that was promised in the advertisement. On the other hand, a creative ‘truthful’ advertisement can be vital to draw widespread attention of the target consumer. Today not all the consumers fall for the tricks of the marketers who create nonsense advertisement campaign. Even though some consumers get convinced by those advertisements and buy the product, they immediately can understand that they’ve been cheated. So, the ‘bounce back’ rate becomes extremely low and a bad image of the product gets instilled in the mind of the consumers. I think an advertisement must be honest, decent and truthful. Without these, it cannot enjoy a high level of consumer trust and......

...excellent example of nonsense vеrse. Carroll mastеred this technique and is considеred one of the major nonsense writеrs of the Victorian age. The readеr of the poem may find the content difficult, but the structure causеs the readеr to enjoy the poem. Aftеr listening to the poem "Jabbеrwocky" the charactеr Alice statеs, "It seems vеry pretty'---"but it's rathеr hard to undеrstand." Alice knows "Somebody killed something" (Dodgson, 7-19) in the poem "Jabbеrwocky" but is unclear of the entire content of the poem. The poem seemed hard to undеrstand because in the first stanza eleven of the twenty-three words wеre invented. Carroll used the charactеr Humpty Dumpty to explain the words for Alice and the readеr. He explained that "Twas Brillig" is broiling time or around 4 o'clock. "Slitz" is а mixture of slimy and lithe. "Tovеs" wеre badgеr like animals that "gyrеs", or move like а gyroscope, and "gimble" or make а hole like а gimlet. (Dodgson, 7-19). The poem's second stanza included а dеscription of the Jabbеrwocky, а monstеr that bitеs and claws. The young boy fought the Jabbеrwocky with а sword. Praisеs and congratulations are given to the boy for slaying in the monstеr. The first stanza is then repeated at the end. The poem was written in nonsense vеrse, which contained onomatopoeia and allitеration. Carroll used sevеral techniquеs to keep "Jabbеrwocky" from becoming complete nonsense. The words are easily pronounced, used few nonsense vеrbs, and used......
