For our ancestors, hunting animals was the main source of survival. It was necessary for them to eat in some places of the world. That was in the past, but in these days, there are people who still hunt animals. People shouldn’t be allowed to hunt because this practice is cruel and inhumane; it´s a real crime because animals are living beings; besides that they kill endangered species, an also, they do it not for eat them, but to trade animal’s skin or fur and their ivory.

Hunting animals is a cruel practice; it´s a crime because animals are living beings, and like us they deserve to live in peace without being killed by humans. Animals have rights; humans who kill animals are committing one of the worst crimes, and they should be severely punished for that. Unfortunately, laws about these types of crimes against animals are really bad.

Animals can be used to satisfy legitimate needs, like food and clothing, but in other cases hunting is a sport and a business. In the market, animal´s skin, ivory and horns are very popular and people make lots of money with this. They get their skin and ivory to decorate houses. Also, they sell their skin to create luxury coats and shoes. The sad thing is that people still buy these objects and they don’t care how many innocent animals were killed for this purpose.

People who practice hunting, in most of the cases, kill endangered species and they don´t realize or they don’t care about that. This is one of the strongest reasons why hunting shouldn’t be allowed. It is very important to be aware that hunting is exterminating endangered animals. Governments must create stricter laws that prohibit indiscriminate hunt of endangered species.

In conclusion, hunt animals for reasons like fashion, sports, decoration, or any other selfish reason, must be banned in every place of the world. Like the humans, animals deserve to have…...

The God of the Hebrews Versus the Egyptian Gods

.... . 0/ The GOD of the Hebrews versus the Egyptian gods Rev. Bryant S. Williamson Prof. Linda Reaves Writing and Research 215, Strayer University November 8, 2011 Intoduction There is a belief in a supreme being by all religions on earth. I believe that the same GOD of the Hebrews is this GOD because of his display of power over the Egyptian gods. This report looks at one account of many in the bible where GOD uses an ordinary man to free his people from bondage in Egypt using signs and wonders. The God of the Hebrews Versus the Egyptian gods One of the most awesome displays of power and love in the Bible is the deliverance of Gods’ people from Egypt. They were lead out of Egypt by Moses, a Hebrew found floating in an ark by Pharaohs daughter as a child. Moses, now grown, went out unto his people and saw an Egyptian beating one of his brethren and killed the Egyptian. After hearing of what Moses had done the Pharaoh sought to kill him but Moses had fled to the city of Midian and as time went on the King of Egypt died and the children of Israel (Hebrews) cried out to God because of their bondage. Thus the Lord remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and Jacob and sent Moses as the deliverer of his people. Moses is then encountered in the presence of God being called out of the mist of a burning bush and is given instructions to return to Egypt with Aaron where he demands that Pharaoh set his people free. And Pharaoh replies “Who is the Lord......

...RUNNING HEAD: IM/IT Analysis IM/IT Analysis Barbara C. Hagerman Dr. Chad Moretz Health Information Systems July 29, 2012 1. Discuss the five (5) major components of information management/information technology (IM/IT) governance with a focus on how they will collectively improve the quality of health care. IM/IT governance helps the organization make business decisions more accurately and in a timelier manner (Glandon, Smaltz, Slovensky, 2008). In order to complete this, five general guidelines were created. They are as follows: Develop a consistent IT strategy, Align IT Planning with Organizational Planning, Develop IT Infrastructure, Architecture and Policies, Set IT Project Priorities and Oversee Investments and Be able to assess IT’s contribution. In order to develop a consistent IT strategy, the plan created must apply across all operating units within the organization. Next, the plan must align with IT planning and organizational planning. Alignment would involve three essential elements for success. First, an alignment of purpose must be in place. IM/IT leadership and organizational leadership must agree that they are trying to achieve the same ends. Second, they must agree to work to develop goals and tactics jointly to meet those ends. Third, these two groups must share the responsibility and accountability to achieve the ends (Stacey, Skinner, 2005). Because plans may change over a period of time,......

...IM/IT Analysis Patricia D. Barringer Strayer University Health Services Administration HSA 599 Dr. Kadrie Mountasser April 29, 2012 IM/IT Analysis The issue of public health and its subsequent impact on society as a whole is becoming a very contentious issues for government. In the midst of an election year, public health issues such as Medicare, social security, and disease prevention are all becoming more prevalent. In the state of New Jersey, public health is no different in this regard. According to U.S. Public Health Service, over the last century, the average life span of an America grew by 30 years. 25 of those years are attributed to an increase in public health services. As such, decisions make by governments on the federal, state, and local level will have a profound impact on the community. First, as is the case with many communities, state governments rely heavily on tax revenue as their primary source of income. In the midst of a global recession, those entities that rely heavily on income tax revenue ultimately suffer as those who provide the tax revenue are unemployed. Further compounding this issue is that fact that many individuals who were formally employed full time are now employed part time. As such, their taxable income is significantly diminished. With this diminished revenue, budgets must ultimately be cut to correspond to the reduced inflow of revenue. Now in regards to expenditures two-thirds of spending is for personal......

...Dear Mayor Adam & Town Manager Smith, You, Sirs, Need IMS. You look out of your window at Town Hall to see the city in ruins, lone policemen cut off from the rest of their units, firefighters in burning rubble with no idea where they are, and worse, nobody knows they are lost in the fray. Riots have begun explode out of control, and when response to unrest by authorities is slow and uncoordinated, things turn ugly. Chain-of-command has completely broken down, US Army generals are being knocked off their feet by firefighters ordered to prevent them from entering the area, phone and power lines are down across the city hampering communication, and looters are running rampant in a state of anarchy. National Guardsmen unleash a hail of bullets toward a two-family home after a police officer yells ‘cover me!’. Are the levees compromised, or not? You can’t get a straight answer. Your emergency management plans provided one-stop solutions that weren't applicable, scalable, or adaptable to more complex situations, like the ones you are now facing. And eventually, the people are going to blame this lack of preparedness and proper response on you, putting an end to a fine career of public service. But it doesn't have to be this way. In fact, you can save your city and your career by supporting and implementing an Incident Management System – you might even be able to swing some extra federal funding your way in the form of emergency preparedness grants! Although we do......

Jugend Im Dritten Reich

Unvorstellbar ist, was man selber getan hätte. ...

The Gods

...The Role of the Gods in the Iliad In the era of Homer, divine intervention was thought to be typical, and one of his foremost works, The Iliad, reflects this. Nearly all of the Greek gods are involved in the outcome of the Trojan War, which happens to be the background story of this epic poem. The gods are used by Homer to add twists on an otherwise standard plot of war. Evidently, the gods will be a powerful source of divine intervention and their actions certainly have significant outcomes on the Trojan War, and more importantly, the story of The Iliad. Zeus, very untypical of a Greek god in his lack of involvement in the Trojan War for selfish reasons, was portrayed as the father figure, being impartial and fair to both sides of the war. He remains this way to serve as a check for the other god's involvement in the war. Without the presence of fate controlling the inner circle of Olympus, it is likely that the activity of the Trojan War would have become chaotic, possibly even becoming a playground of war for the gods. The power of fate, above all of the other gods combined, is a power that not even divine intervention can prevent. This theme of fate and how it controls the god’s actions is quite befitting to the storyline of The Iliad. The Iliad, in essence, recounts the story of part of the tenth year of the Trojan War. It recounts of the anger of Achilles, the greatest warrior present at Troy, and of the background battle that is ensuing. The reoccurring theme in the......

...both cases as a personal was trying to organize information in a deliverable manner to others or his/herself. The term “information management” may be quite unfamiliar to general public. People would think that it might be related to computer science and information technology, which are newly brought out in this century. By the Dr. T.D. Wilson (University of Sheffield), information management refers to how information is acquired, organized, controlled and disseminated (Wilson). Indeed, information management has long been existed and “living” with us. Experts have different comments on Information management models. Some said models are typically wrong in nature but somehow useful (Box & Draper 1987). To summarise the features of IM model, it could be the representation of structure or diagnostic tool (HKU). This essay introduces four information management models and how they are involved in daily life. Each model would be illustrated with certain examples to let readers have a better understanding. In this essay, four information management models are discussed, namely Shannon Weaver Communication Model, 5 Rings Information Model, Kuhlthau’s Research Model and Information Transfer Cycle. A. Shannon Weaver Communication Model Shannon Weaver Communication Model is a cycle with several stages and steps published in 1948, titled “A Mathematical Theory of Communication”. It became an important finding in communication studies. The graph below shows the detail of...

...research demonstrates that more important than physical distance are differences across time zones. That is, trade tends to travel more easily in north–south directions than it did in ancient times. However, transportation networks (basic to any marketing system) are likely to be interrelated and well developed when countries are close together. Issues of immigration, legal and illegal, also promote closer economic integration between close neighbors. (International Marketing 2011) Sri Lanka is a small country which has a square area of 65,610Km2. When considering the infrastructure Sri Lanka has substantial infrastructure facilities in consideration with the other developing counties. Since the country has a considerably small diameter and god infrastructure facilities, these factors not create much impact on selling and distribution of a product. This geographical and infrastructure facilities mostly influence in selling and distributional functions of an organizations. Therefore multinational companies adopt three strategies to overcome such problems. * Licensing – Multinational companies issue license to a local company to manufacture and distribute their products. Eg. Coca Cola Company issued license to Coca Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd to manufacture and distribute their products in Sri Lanka. * Franchising – McDonalds establish franchise partnership with Abans and the Abans established outlets and prepared sell Mc Donald’s products in Sri Lanka. God vs No God

...The definition of “God” is the supernatural that is conceived as the perfect, omnipotent and omniscient originator and ruler of the universe. God is the object of worship in monotheistic religions. After having studied this subject frequently back in the past and this chapter, there are many arguments for the existence of God such as the cosmological, the teleological, the ontological, and the moral arguments, etc. Although they are very powerful arguments, each one of them also has their own weakness. There are not only arguments towards the existence of God; however, there are also arguments against God as well. These are called the Empirical, Deductive, Inductive, and Subjective arguments. But, again, these arguments each also have their own strengths and weaknesses just like the arguments for the existence of God. One popular form of the Cosmological argument states that things exist and it is possible for those things to not exist; there is an uncaused caused for everything that has been brought into existence. So, according to this argument, the cause and what created the universe must have been God’s doing. However, this argument is thought by some to be completely illogical, as God would have to be caused as well. So, if God had a cause, what created God? Then there must be a higher power even above God. But yet, God is supposed to be all-powerful. Maybe it created itself? How is that possible? Perhaps the universe was always there, perhaps God was always there. I......
