A customer walked in on a Sunday and was inebriated, he wanted to pay his bill. The customer bill was close to a hundred dollar. He gave me all twenty dollar bills, when I counted them they were six twenty dollar bills. Which were twenty more than his bill. I had a choice to return the twenty or keep it. If I would have kept it he wouldn’t have known. But I decided to give the money back to the customer, because my conscious wouldn’t allow me to keep the money. After the customer was gone I thought about it and I came to the conclusion that the twenty dollar I didn’t keep would not make me any richer or poorer than what I already was. Statement: Would the twenty dollar will make me richer or poorer. Solution: In this problem there are only two possible solution. A. Give the money back. B. Or you keep the money. On the first part when you give it back, you are dealing with a multitude of issues, starting with you ethical behavior, your upbringing, and your conscious.
