Three examples of Space Spinoffs:
* Product – Dehydrated Food: The purpose for this product was to provide astronauts with meals during long flights. A Spinoff of this product could be portable camping food; emergency food supply; food storage.
* Product – Miniaturized Computer and Robotics: The purpose of this product to build computer robotics for space vehicles and probes. A spinoff of this product could be Emergency response robots (to inspect explosive devices)
* Product – Ionization Smoke Detector: The purpose of this product was to detect possible fire outbreaks on board a spacecraft. A Spinoff would be sensitive household smoke detector.
3- One of Canada’s most significant contributions to the space station has been the Canadarm2, this robotic device was used to move astronauts around as they work outside the space station. It can also bend around corners and grasp objects with its computer- controlled fingers.

4b - A geostationary orbit is a circular orbit, 35,786 kilometres (22,236 mi) above the Earth's equator and following the direction of the Earth's rotation.
4c - Canada's first satellite was called Alouette. When Canada launched Alouette on September 29, 1962, Canada became the third country in the world to have a satellite in orbit, after the Soviet Union and the United States.
